The Ohio SE CCOE sponsors a number of training events to help service systems, organizations, and providers learn how to implement and sustain the evidence-based Supported Employment (SE) model with fidelity.

The Ohio SE CCOE and the Ohio SAMI CCOE are both programs of the Center for Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs) at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and share some web site resources, such as the online training calendar, online registration, and mailing list database. Benefits Planning | The Basics: The Argument for Employment

This training event is designed to provide participants with basic information about the impact that employment earnings have upon benefits such as SSI, SSDI, Medicaid, and Medicare. The training focuses on the concerns about benefits that consumers (beneficiaries) have which may keep them from searching for employment. The training teaches participants how to address these concerns about benefits with facts about benefits programs in ways that support and promote informed choice among consumers.

The Ohio SE CCOE recommends a number of training events sponosred by the Ohio SAMI CCOE that will enhance direct-practice with people who have been diagnosed with mental illness or a co-occurring mental and substance use disorder. Look for these events on the event-calendar of the Ohio SAMI CCOE:
